Chaque midi, beaucoup d’enfants de l’école mangent à la cantine.

It’s time to go back to school !
My comment is going to be about my trip to France. We arrived at our hotel after two hours travelling in Eurostar. As soon as we came out of the train station, my dad pointed me to the Eiffel Tower. A few nights later, we went there to see it sparkling and when we went up the elevator, the view of France which was beautiful. We also went on a French tourbus during the day and saw the great Ark de Triumph. The other thing I saw was the River Seine and the next day we were taken on a boat ride. My trip was a fantastic memory and I would love to go there again.
Mon message est au sujet de mon voyage en France. Nous sommes arrivés à notre hotel après deux heures de voyage en Eurostar. Dès que nous sommes sortis de la gare, mon papa m’a montré la Tour Eiffel. Quelques nuits plus tard, nous sommes retournés pour voir la Tour Eiffel étinceler et quand nous sommes montés avec l’ascenseur, la vue de la France était belle. Nous avons fait un tour de la ville dans un bus pendant la journée et nous avons vu le genial Arc de Triomphe. L’autre chose que nous avons vue était le fleuve de la Seine et le jour d’après nous avons fait un tour de bateau. Mon voyage est un souvenir fantastique et j’aimerais y retourner.
Dear French School,
What is the weather like there because in London during Spring the weather is warm with a gentle breeze. If we are lucky we will be able to see the sun. In summer it is mostly hot but there are a group of clouds when it’s warm.
During Autumn, it begins to feel cold however the wind blows and leaves fall to the ground. Once they covered our car. In Winter we get rain with howling winds. Our car get covered with snow. During the night, there is lightening and thunder. This time is very cold. The car gets covered with ice and frost.
When you are at school, what time do you wake up and do you stay there? I wake up at 7 o’clock. What do you have for breakfast? I have cereals. Do you wear school uniform? I do. What class size do you have? There are 20 students in mine.
What subjects do you get taught? I get taught Science, Maths, History, Music, Drama, Verbal Reasoning, Non-verbal Reasoning, Religious Studies and French.

Quel temps fait-il en France? car à Londres, pendant le printemps le temps est chaud avec une brise douce. Si nous avons de la chance, nous pourrons voir le soleil. En été il fait surtout chaud mais il y a un groupe de nuages quand il fait chaud.
Pendant l’automne, on commence à sentir le froid cependant le vent souffle les feuilles sur le sol. Une fois ells ont couvert notre voiture. En hiver, nous avons la pluie avec des vents hurlants . notre voiture est couverte de neige. Pendant la nuit il y a la foudre et le tonnerre. Cette fois c’est très froid.
Quand vous êtes à l’école, à quelle heure vous réveillez-vous? Je me réveille à sept heures. Que mangez-vous au petit-déjeuner? je mange des céréales. Portez-vous un uniforme? moi oui. Quelle est la taille de votre classe? il y a 20 élèves dans la mienne. Quelles matières étudiez-vous? j’étudie les sciences, les maths, l’histoire, la musique, le théâtre, raisonnement verbal, raisonnement non-verbal, éducation religieuse et le français.

I hope you’re all well! I’m going to tell you about the different sports I play in school. The girls in Alpha Prep School play netball in the winter term and rounders in the summer term. We also play netball and rounders matches against other schools like Reddiford and Aldenham (Independent schools). Also, once a year (around January) we play a football match against these schools.
I love these sports because they keep me fit, healthy and they are competitive. After playing a match, one of the girls is awarded the “girl of the match” shield. I have won it a couple of times. It motivates you to play even better.

J’espère que vous êtes tous bien.
Je vais vous dire sur les différents sports que je joue à l’école. Les filles de l’école Prep Alpha jouent au netball, au football et au rounders. Nous jouons au netball en hiver et au rounders en été. Nous avons également joué des matchs contre d’autres écoles comme Reddiford et Aldenham (écoles privées). De plus, une fois par année (vers janvier) nous jouons un match de football contre ces écoles.
J’aime ces sports parce qu’ils me maintiennent en forme, en bonne santé et qu’ils sont compétitifs. Après avoir joué un match, l’une des filles se voit décerner le trophée de “la fille du match”. J’ai gagné deux ou trois fois. Il vous motive à jouer encore mieux.
