Aldenham Science Competition

Last week, three students from year six went to the Aldenham Practical Science competition. They had 4 important tasks to do during the day. The first task included chemical analysis with volumetric titration. In Biology they correctly dissected a flower labelling all the male and female parts and in Physics they made a parachute to learn about the forces that affect falling objects. Unfortunately, our egg cracked because our parachute was not big enough, however it was a very fun experiment to try. Finally, we had a science quiz and the team did well to name many famous scientists. Hopefully this competition will run again next year with more unknown science practical tasks to try.

Well done to the year 6 team for representing the school in a very focused manner and for Aldenham school for organising such a fantastic event.
